Findings: On or about February 23, 2020, Alleged Victim (AV) and Witness 1 (W1) had a resident to resident altercation that caused injury to AV. On the day of the incident, the facility failed to give W1 two doses of his/her medication that helps regulate W1's mood and emotions. This was the second resident to resident altercation that occurred on the same day involving W1 and AV, as well as W1 and another resident. The facility failed to provide a safe environment for AV which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP20-00323 $188.00 fine assessed
