Findings: On or about January 5, 2020, the Alleged Victim (AV) was given his/her last dose of opioid medication by the facility. The facility had failed to reorder the medication timely, therefore, AV went without his/her medication from January 6th through January 8th, causing pain and headaches due to withdrawal from the medication. The facility's failure to provide a safe medication administration system is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP20-00587 $500.00 fine assessed
