Findings: The facility failed to provide a service for Alleged Victim (AV) by failing to prevent pressure wounds which resulted in unreasonable discomfort. AV was admitted to the facility on January 31, 2020 as a full assist for bathing and dressing. AV did not have skin concerns upon admittance to the facility. However, on or about February 12, 2020, AV was found to have a skin breakdown on his/her heel and buttocks area that was painful. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP20-01125 $500.00 fine assessed
