Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) resides at the facility and receives assistance with medication administration. On or about June 4, 2020, AV went to the emergency department, the emergency department notified the facility that AV would not be returning to the facility that day. AV was discharged from the emergency department and took a taxi back to the facility. The facility did not perform a COVID screening prior to AV's return to his/her room and the facility was unaware AV had returned. AV did not receive his/her night medications. AV did not experience a negative outcome from not receiving his/her evening medications. The facility failed to administer AV's medications as ordered, which is a violation of Oregon Administrative Rules.
