Findings: On or about May 29, 2020, Alleged Victim (AV) reported to facility staff that he/she had a rash. Facility staff faxed AV's medical provider requesting treatments orders. On or about June 2, 2020, AV's medical provider sent an order for a medicated ointment to be applied twice daily until resolved. On or about June 3, 2020, the facility determined AV's rash was fungal in nature and an additional fax was sent to AV's medical provider requesting a medicated powder, to be applied twice daily. AV's medical provider approved the order the same day. The approved order was not entered into the facility's computerized medication system, or followed-up on. The facility failed to provide treatment as ordered causing AV unreasonable discomfort, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
