The money was taken by an unknown individual and this person is responsible for theft of property, which is considered financial exploitation and constitutes abuse. The facility failed to protect the AV's property from theft by not ensuring that AV was aware of ways to keep his/her belongings safe. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
