Findings: Witness 1 (W1) had a known history of sexually inappropriate behaviors and was care planned to be redirected when displaying this behavior. On or about August 9, 2020, W1 was putting his/her hands between Alleged Victim's (AV's) thighs, attempting to kiss AV, and grabbing AV's breast. AV asked W1 to keep his/her hands off several times, and stated "No, I don't like that" and asked W1 to stop several times. Staff were unable to redirect W1. The facility failed to care plan and implement appropriate interventions regarding W1's behavior, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP20-01041 $1125.00 fine assessed
