Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to provide a safe environment. On or about October 7, 2020, Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) had reported feeling ill on more than one occasion and had requested to leave early. AP2 made multiple attempts to find coverage for his/her shift. On or about October 7, 2020, AP2 administered all schedule 8 pm and 9 pm medications early before leaving their shift shortly after 6 pm due to him/her feeling unwell. The facility was aware of AP2 not feeling well for several days leading up to the incident and requested that AP2 work despite AP2 presenting with COVID like symptoms. The facility failed to provide proper infection control and failed to ensure a medication was administered as ordered putting AV at risk for serious harm, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
