Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medications. On or about September 3, 2020, the instructions for AV’s narcotic medications was entered incorrectly. AV had medication administered incorrectly from September 14 through October 14, 2020 resulting in AV been overmedicated and sedated. The facility failed to administer medication as order, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP21-01616 $1500.00 fine assessed
