Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) service plan states that AV's skin will remain clean, dry intact or improve with skin care and that AV is being seen my home health for wound care. The facility reports they were conducting bandage changes for AV's wound. Documentation shows the facility provided wound care one time in July 2020, and one time in August 2020. The facility failed to ensure proper skin care was completed, putting AV at risk for serious harm, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-01980 $500.00 fine assessed
