Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for medical assistance. A Temporary Service Plan (TSP) was created On or about October 20, 2021, for a wound on the back of AV’S right leg. On or about October 21, 2021, and October 25, 2021, AV’S leg was not bandaged, resulting in AV being diagnosed as having an infection on h/her leg wound. The facility’s failure to provide medical assistance is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP21-03362 $750.00 fine assessed
