Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) had relied on the facility to administer his/her medication. From September 14, 2020 to October 16, 2020, the facility was administering a dosage of two twenty (20) mg tablets daily for a total of forty (40) mg of (medication #1), when AV’s prescription had been for one (1), twenty (20) mg tablet daily. The facility failed to administer AV’s medication as order, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP21-01636 $250.00 fine assessed
