Findings: On or about November 5, 2020, the facility held a Service Plan Meeting in which Alleged Victim (AV) informed facility staff that he/she was experiencing discomfort on his/her bottom area. An investigation determined that AV was not seen by doctor for several days after AV's Service Plan Meeting and AV was diagnosed with a wound that needed medical treatment. The facility's failure to ensure that AV receive base care, putting AV at serious risk of harm is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-02690 $1500.00 fine assessed
