Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medications. AV was given 44 of 120 Oxycodone from November 1st to November 14, 2020. On or about November 14, 2020, the facility reported 76 tablets of AV’s prescription was unaccounted for. Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) assumed primary responsibility for medication administration on the third floor, checking in medication, destroying medication as needed, ordering medication, and documenting in the NARC books when on shift. AP2 and the facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
