Findings: The facility failed to provide basic care and services necessary to maintain Alleged Victim's health and safety. On or about November 16, 2020, AV was sent to the hospital after she was found unresponsive in the dining area. At the hospital, AV presented with a severe case of scabies. An investigation determined that AV had been suffering from scabies since July 2020 and that the facility failed to properly treat AV's skin condition. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-02051 $500.00 fine assessed
