Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) has a known history of exit seeking. On or about November 19, 2020, AV was showing signs of exit seeking, including making a door alarm go off. AV was redirected to his/her room. Approximately 15 minutes later, staff were notified that AV had eloped from the facility. The facility failed to ensure AV remained in a secured environment, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-02521 $500.00 fine assessed
