Findings: The facility failed to intervene when the Alleged Victim (AV) experienced a change of condition. AV was unresponsive during a med pass. Staff did not have enough training to understand that AV was unresponsive and not sleeping and did not notify anyone of AV's condition. AV was unresponsive for some time before another staff determined that AV needed medical intervention. The facilities failures are a violation of resident rights, are considered neglect of care and constitute abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-01872 $1500.00 fine assessed
