Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to manage his/her medications. On or about June 6, 2020, Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) signed AV’s narcotic medication out on the narcotic tracking sheet but did not sign the electronic medication administration record (eMAR). As a result, a total of ½ a tablet of AV’s narcotic medication is unaccounted for. AP2 and the facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
