Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medications. From November 14th through 16th, 2020 and December 17th through 22, 2020, AV’s blood pressure medication was not administered due to it being on order from the pharmacy. AV had two other medications not administered on December 23rd, 29th and 30th of 2020 due to the facility not ordering AV’s medication on time. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP21-03146 $500.00 fine assessed
