Findings: The facility failed to follow Alleged Victim's (AV) care plan which resulted in AV not receiving appropriate foot care. An investigation determined that AV was observed to have long and curved toenails that were digging into his/her other toes. AV is care planned to have his/her foot care needs properly maintained. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-03120 $250.00 fine assessed
