Findings: The facility and Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) failed to protect the Alleged Victim (AV) from financial exploitation. According to documentation, AP2 took cash from the AV's room and while the exact amount is unknown, it was reported to be between $1400-$5000 and his/her actions are considered financial exploitation, which constitutes abuse. The facility knew of AV's behavior of having his/her money on him/her at all times and failed to care plan or process a risk agreement to keep AV's funds accounted for, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
