Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) received medication from facility staff as directed. Staff would deliver AV's medications to his/her room, however, staff would leave AV's medications in his/her room and not watch him/her take the medication. AV also ran out of many of his /her medications for months. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP22-00229 $1000.00 fine assessed
