Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) is care planned to have a cigarette available upon his/her request. On or about February 6, 2021, AV requested a cigarette from staff. Staff did not immediately provided AV with a cigarette and so AV became angry. He/she went to his/her room and broke a window lock and eloped through the window. The facility failed to follow AV’s care plan, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-03162 $375.00 fine assessed
