Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) was care planned to be assisted with toileting/personal hygiene and to have peri-area washed. On or about March 5, 2021, AV went to the emergency room due to nausea/vomiting/diarrhea. AV was diagnosed with a urinary track infection and inflammation of the kidney due to a bacterial infection. The facility failed to follow the care plan causing AV to suffer pain or unreasonable discomfort and exposing AV to potential harm, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP21-02725 $250.00 fine assessed
