Findings: On or about April 14, 2021, facility staff discovered a bruise on Alleged Victim's (AV) chest when facility staff assisted AV with his/her Activities of Daily Living. The bruise on AV's chest measured approximately 5cm by 7cm and was a deep purple color. The facility failed to ensure that AV received the basic care and services necessary to protect AV from sustaining a bruise to his/her chest. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-02812 $375.00 fine assessed
