Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care. On or about April 27, 2021, AV was pushed down in the kitchenette of the facility by Witness 1 (W1). An hour prior, W1 had pushed another resident out of their wheelchair. W1 was noted to still be angry after the first altercation. AV had back pain following the altercation. The facility failed to provide a safe environment for AV, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-02727 $250.00 fine assessed
