Findings: On or about late April 2021, the facility failed to administer the Alleged Victim's (AV) pain medications as ordered. The facility had the medication, however, staff had not unpack the cycle fill so it was thought the pain medication had not been re-ordered. AV missed several days of pain medication. The facility failed to have medication available, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP21-01675 $500.00 fine assessed
