Findings: On or about March 25, 2021, the Alleged Victim (AV) was prescribed medication that was then discontinued on April 6, 2021, due to it causing AV to have difficulty walking, shaking and slurred speech, however, the facility continued to administer this medication to AV. This action placed AV at risk for serious harm and increased depression. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-02770 $1500.00 fine assessed
