Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) had a known skin condition on AV’s feet. On or about May 19, 2021, both of AV’s feet were found to be peeling, malodorous, and his/her socks were caked with discharged and peeling skin. There was no notation in AV’s care plan regarding the facility receiving instruction to change AV’s socks daily. The facility failed to properly plan care around AV’s known skin condition, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
