Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care. During the month of May 2021, there were thirty-four (34) instances where it took over twenty (20) minutes for staff to respond to AV’s call pendant to ask for help. Of those thirty-four call response times, eights (8) were forty (40) minutes to an hour and six (6) were over an hour. The longest response time was one hour and forty-five minutes. The facility failed to answer call light in a timely manner, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP21-03111 $1500.00 fine assessed
