Findings: On or about May 29, 2021, the Alleged Victim (AV) suffered a fall and was found sitting upright on the floor near his/her bed. AV was not injured in the fall, however, he/she was placed at risk of harm because the facility failed to follow the care plan to ensure AV was being checked on every hour to ensure safety. The facility's failure to follow the care plan is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-03019 $375.00 fine assessed
