Findings: The facility failed to provide a safe environment for Alleged Victim (AV) which resulted in a resident-to-resident altercation between AV and Witness 1 (W1). On or about May 27, 2021, W1 scratched AV's right arm because AV was too close to W1's walker. W1 has a history of being territorial and attacking staff and residents. The facility's failed to protect AV from W1's aggressive behavior which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-03265 $188.00 fine assessed
