Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) had an insulin order to receive 44 units twice daily (before breakfast and before bedtime). On or about May 27, 2021, AV returned from the emergency room and was not provided their evening medication to manage (disease process that impacts blood sugar). The facility failed to administer ordered medication, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
