Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to manage his/her medications. On or about June 1 and June 3, 2021, Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) did not follow proper procedure for medications count during shift change and medications were missing right after AP2's shifts. It was discovered that AV was missing 119 total pills. AP2's actions are considered financial exploitation and constitutes abuse. The facility did not have proper medication procedures in place which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care which constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP21-03194 $500.00 fine assessed
