Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care. AV is care planned to be in a common area so staff can monitor, have a call light, a walker within reach and be wearing proper footwear. On or about June 30, 2021 AV fell in his/her room. AV was left alone in his/her room and was not wearing proper footwear. The facility failed to follow the care plan which is a violation of resident’s rights is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-03574 $250.00 fine assessed
