Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care. On or about July 14, 2021 AV was having his/her medication patch changed from the previous day and staff discovered that AV had a second patch on AV’s back, which looked older. AV was shaky and confused. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-03607 $250.00 fine assessed
