Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care. Witness #1 (W1) has a long history of displaying sexualized behaviors when having an UTI. W1 Interim Service Plan (ISP) dated on or about July 09, 2021 directs staff to monitor common area and redirect residents of opposite sex to another area to engage in conversation/activity. On or about July 17, 2021 AV sat on the couch next to W1, W1 rubbed AV’s inner thigh, staff redirected W1. W1 came back to the couch and rubbed AV’s chest. The Facility failed to follow the ISP, which is a violation of residents rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-03619 $500.00 fine assessed
