Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on facility staff to ensure resident’s rights. On or about July 22, 2021, it was reported to the facility that Alleged Victim’s (AV) wallet was missing after it was discovered that AV’s wallet could not be located when AV returned to the facility after recovering from surgery at rehab facility for a short time period. AV’s wallet was never found. The facility failed to protect AV’s property from theft. This failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.”. The allegation that Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) financially exploited AV was investigated, and findings were inconclusive as to AP2.
