Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care. On or about July 25, 2021, AV, and Witness 1 (W1) had a physical altercation. As W1 was coming out the door and AV was coming in, AV hit W1’s arm. W1 slapped AV with an open hand on the left side of AV’s face leaving a red mark. AV put up his/her right arm to block W1’s hit and W1 scratched AV’s right wrist. The facility failed to provide a safe environment for AV, which is a violation or resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP22-00298 $375.00 fine assessed
