Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her needs. AV requires assistance with all ADLs, including ambulating. AV has history of load vocalizations on a regular basis. The facility did not have sufficient staffing to meet AV’s care needs. Facility avoided providing care to AV due to his/her vocalizations and behaviors. When AV made vocalizations facility would put AV in his/her room alone, which caused AV distress and serious loss of personal dignity which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP22-00334 $1000.00 fine assessed
