Findings: On or about September 4, 2021, The Alleged Victim (AV) and Witness #2 (W2) had an altercation where W2 put his/her hand under AV's shirt. When staff intervened, W2 became agitated and hit AV in the head. Neither resident was injured, however, both were placed at risk for harm. The facility failed to implement appropriate interventions regarding W2's behaviors. The failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-03634 $188.00 fine assessed
