Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medications. On or about May 4, 2021, AV requested his/her narcotic pain medication but was given Extra-Strength Tylenol, which is not on AV’s list of medications. AV’s Medication Administration Record (MAR) does not show any medications administered to AV on May 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2021. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system for AV, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP22-00701 $2500.00 fine assessed
