Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) is cared planned to received assistance with transfer and toileting. AV often had to wait a long time for a response when AV called for help. AV would press the call button and staff would not respond timely or would respond to turn the light off and then leave without assisting AV. Between May 4, 2021, through July 9, 2021, AV had a response time of 15 minutes to an hour on approximately 129 occasions. The facility failed to answer the call light in a timely manner, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP22-00701 $2500.00 fine assessed
