- Findings
- The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system for Alleged Victim (AV) by failing to administer AV's mood/anxiety medication as ordered due to staff errors in reading the correct dosage on AV's medication cards. An investigation determined that for the dates of September 18, 2021 through September 23, 2021, AV was not given the correct dosage of his/her mood/anxiety medication 7 out of 15 medication passes which caused AV to have increased anxiety causing AV's medical condition to worsen. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
