Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for coordination of care regarding medications. On or about September 24, 2021, through September 27, 2021, AV went without his/her pain medications due to the facility not ordering it timely through Hospice. During the time AV was out of his/her pain medication the facility gave a different pain medication, but neither were given at the fully available dosage, nor did they appear to reduce AV'S pain level. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP22-00391 $500.00 fine assessed
