Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to manage his/her medications. On or about, September 17, 2021, the facility received a new medication for AV from the pharmacy, but the facility failed to verify the medication was ordered by AV's physician for approximately two weeks. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system, by not following up on the order and as a result, AV's condition worsened. The failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
