Findings: On or about September 4, 2021, The Alleged Victim (AV) and Witness #2 (W2) had an altercation where AV put his/her hand under W2's shirt. When staff intervened, AV became agitated and hit W2 in the head. Neither resident was injured, however, both were placed at risk for harm. The facility failed to implement appropriate interventions regarding AV's behaviors. The failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-03636 $188.00 fine assessed
