Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) is care planned to receive pain medication two times per day. On three occasions, September 16, 2021 at 8:00 pm and September 17th at 8;00 am, AV did not receive his/her pain medication. AV had a hard time sleeping and was in pain. Again on October 17, 2021, AV did not receive his/her pain medication and had a hard time sleeping and was in pain. The facility failed to ensure AV had medication available to administer, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP21-03320 $500.00 fine assessed
