Findings: The facility failed to provide appropriate health assessment, oversight, and monitoring when AV’s medical condition changed which resulted in AV experiencing an untreated decline in his/her condition and AV not receiving timely medical treatment. AV was sent to the hospital on or about, November 2, 2021, where he/she was diagnosed with cellulitis. The facility’s failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP22-01513 $250.00 fine assessed
