Findings: On or about November 1, 2021, the Alleged Victim (AV) received $60.00 and placed this money in his/her wallet and placed in AV's top dresser drawer. AV did not have a safe in his/her room at this time. On or about November 3, AV went to get his/her money and the money was missing. On or about November 2, 2021, Alleged Perpetrator #2 (AP2) was seen going into AV's room while AV was at dinner. There was no reason for AP2 to be in AV's room at that time. AP2 is responsible for financial abuse, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse. The facility failed to provide a locking cabinet or safe for AV, leaving AV vulnerable for financial abuse, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
